Presentations:
I do three types of presentations.

1) Book Discussion - centered around my specific novel.

2) Writing Craft Discussion - focused on one or several aspects of writing craft, such as character development, conflict and active voice.

3) Moral Dilemmas and Larger World - an analysis of moral dilemmas and conflicts presented in THE CADET OF TILDOR and comparable issues in the real world. The agenda here is not to steer students toward one or another side of the argument, but to emphasize that there ARE two sides, and address the reasoning for each. With younger students I often take a devil’s advocate position. With older students I encourage them to come up with counter arguments to their own believes.
