Presentations: Depending on the topic, I'm available for anything from informal chats to working with students and/or teachers on long range projects.

I don't do formal "canned" presentations. One of my primarily beliefs is that lessons are all around you, and my favorite activity was and still is, just in time instruction. Had they actually existed, I would have attended Rube Goldberg High School and McGuyver Institute of Technology.

Through 30 years in the classroom and 10 years of consulting with schools my goal has been to make learning relevant and authentic while providing the tools and skills to teachers to help integrate technology as a critical tool in the classroom.

I know through experience that children can make a difference in the world through their writing and online communications.

Audiences: From upper elementary to adult

Available Times: Being semi-retired, I am available a good deal of the time. Just contact me and we'll set something up.

No Cost Meet the Author Visit: 10-15 minutes

In-Depth Visit Length: In-depth visits could be anything from a class period to multiple visits over an expended period of time.

In-Depth Visit Cost: Cost will be determined based on the nature of the visit. Much of my work is pro-bono, based on topic and need.
