Presentations: Bridget's presentations are suitable for elementary-age students. An in-person presentation lasts 35-45 minutes, consisting of background on the author and photographers, reading on the big screen, discussion about conservation and green-living practices at home and school, and with time remaining, insight into the publishing process with visuals from the making of the book and it's counterpart, the One Child, One Planet app. Students really enjoy information presented on the life-cycle of a water bottle, and have received numerous compliments on the footage from inside the printing plant.

hing process with older students.

In-Depth Visit Cost:
A 30-60 minute Skype session is $150. For in-person visits, Bridget works with individual schools as well as entire districts looking to pool their resources. Generally, she works on a half- or full-day basis. Half days allow up to 3 presentations, and full days up to 6. (It's nice to break into smaller groups to tailor presentations by grade level.) Please contact Bridget for information on booking in-person visits. Rates vary depending on travel involved. Out-of-area involves travel expenses (sometimes able to share with nearby schools booking together), though we try to keep those to a minimum.
Prerequisites:
It's nice if students are familiar with the book first. Most schools are doing an amazing job at recycling and saving resources, so students are usually prepared for our discussion based on familiar practices, and we hope to bring some new ideas to the forefront too. Bridget tries to empower kids, so they know that their small actions add up and make a big difference. Contact Information: Bridget@OneChildOnePlanet.com or 248-860-9221Affiliations:
