Ellen Booraem
Ellen Booraem is the author of the critically acclaimed fantasy novels SMALL PERSONS WITH WINGS (Penguin/Dial 2011) and THE UNNAMEABLES (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt 2008 and 2011). Both are for readers aged nine and older. Before becoming a novelist, she was a small town journalist as well as a staff writer for corporations and colleges.

4. World-Building: How Details Create a World (We explore how one change would change a civilization, e.g. paws instead of hands.) I have run middle-school and high-school workshops on a variety of writing topics. Contact me to discuss the possibilities.
