1981-1982 Everest Grand Circle: First circumnavigation of Everest, climbing and skiing always between 17,000 and 24,000 feet. Ascent of Pumori, first winter season climb.
1980 American Friendship Expedition: Climb and ski descent of 25,000 foot Muztagata, Sinkiang China, setting world ski record for women.
1979 Southern Cross Expedition: Crossing New Zealand Alps using cross country gear in the high alpine terrain
