In-Depth Visit Length: 45 minutes to an hour, or whatever you like.

In-Depth Visit Cost: $50/hr

Prerequisites: I prefer speaking to groups who have either read The Orange Slipknot or are planning to read it. It is not necessary to have read the book first. If a class or group is going to read the book, it would be great to have several meetings if possible. Before reading the book, I would create interest and give background knowledge; I would love to demonstrate how to approach a new book and use good reading strategies--making connections, questioning, visualizing, inferring, determining importance and synthesizing. One or more meetings during the reading of the book and one after reading the book would be ideal. Preferably the class will also be using the author's accompanying Curriculum Unit.

If books are purchased directly from me, each can be autographed. If purchased from publisher or a bookstore, I can mail personalized bookplates.
