Author Address
: American International School of Budapest, P.O. Box 53, Budapest 1525, Hungary
Genres: Comic Fiction, Historical Fiction
Presentations:
I've made personal author visits to international schools in Europe, Africa, the Far East, and the Middle East. While making a presentation (whether it be on-site or virtual) my aim is to be entertaining and fun, but my most important goal is to inspire students and adults to read, read, read and to write, write, write!
Audiences:
Grades 3, 4, 5, and 6. Group sizes from 3 to 150 - depending on the technology used.
Available Times:
Very flexible. I live in Europe and teach at the American International School of Budapest. Thus, the time distance between Europe and North America makes virtual author visits easy to arrange. During North American workday hours it is late afternoon or evening in Budapest, so the timing is quite good. I'm willing to try virtual author visits with any school in the world. Contact me and we'll try to schedule a visit regardless of time zone differences.
No recording of Skype Sessions without permission from the author.
No Cost Meet the Author Visit
: 10 minutes
In-Depth Visit Length:
I offer two tiers of in-depth visits:
20 to 30 minutes and 40 to 60 minutes.
In-Depth Visit Cost:
20 to 30 minutes is $60 USD and
40 to 60 minutes is $100 USD. Normally, it costs $1,000 USD when I visit schools. However, the Virtual Author Visit costs only a fraction of that.
Prerequisites:
Please visit my virtual author page
(on my website) and download the PDF file that explains my virtual author visits in detail.
