About the Author: My first love has always been art and illustration, but after finishing college, life happened, and I never truly pursued what I loved. It wasn't until I became an elementary art teacher, that I became inspired to write and illustrate my first children's book, Just Line Around. At first, I was simply looking for a way to introduce my student's to the Art Element of Line, but as the book progressed, I saw an opportunity to do more with my story. What I ended up with, was the story of Stew, an ordinary horizontal line that hiccups one day and discovers that he can do so much more than lie flat. Stew's simple adventure in creativity will inspire your children to dream big but to always be happy and content with who they are. It can be as simple as a Q&A, a look at the writing/illustrating process, a book reading, or even a simple

meaning to an author visit. For every 5 books that your
class/school pre-orders, $10 will be taken off of the cost of
