2. "There is one right word (and the importance of choosing it)" -presentation for middle grade readers discussing how word choice sets the tone of the story and defines the voice of the narrator
3. "So what do you DO all day?" - presentation for elementary/middle school readers on the day-to-day life of an author, including where story ideas come from, how to do research, how to plot and outline a story, and/or the business of being a writer
4. "Writing Historical Fiction: Finding it, Organizing it, Using it" - presentation for writers (adult or young) on researching history, organizing your notes, and using what you've learned in your stories
5. "The Author/Editor Relationship" - presentation for authors onwhat to expect from your editor, how to make things as easy as possible for your editor (so that s/he’s *dying* to work with you again!), and how to read between the lines of all that editor-speak

6. “Breaking into Non-Traditional Markets.” As the author of more than 20 coloring and activity books for children, I introduce writers to the wonderful, well-paying industry children’s activity books. Tips on how to break in and what to expect are included.
