Presentations: I like chatting informally about: how I became a writer, what it's like to be one now, where my book ideas come from, the different stages of how a book goes from idea to the book store, etc. with plenty of time for Q&A. If a there's a group of students (or patrons) who have read a particular one of my books, we can do a book-club style chat about that book. For non-school visits, we can discuss ahead of time what your audience might most be interested in.

Audiences: Junior High and High School students, librarians, aspiring authors (teen or adult)

Available Times: Flexible, though my calendar tends to fill fairly far in advance. I live in Mountain Time.

No recording of Skype Sessions without permission from the author.

Visit Length: 40-60 minutes, depending how much Q&A participation there is, and how much time you have.

Visit Cost: 2009 rates while we try this out: $125 for the informal chatting or book club as described above. If a more formal presentation (such as a speech for a library conference) is desired, the cost may need to be adjusted.

Contact Information: Please contact Lisa McClatchy at lbvisits@aol.com. Thank you!

Very nice video. Very informative and just the right length. I have done a couple myself and have had lots of traffic. Do you feel the videos help at all?
