Presentations: Stephen Aitken is an internationally published children’s book author and illustrator. His books and articles have been published in East Africa, Canada, China, India, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, U.K. and the USA by publishers such as Scholastic and Puffin Books. The international edition of The Mountain that Loved a Bird written by Alice Mclerran was nominated for the 2006 Cybil award. He also writes articles and poetry for children's magazines such as Chickadee and Know as well as articles for the SCBWI Bulletin, Once Upon a Time magazine and others. He is the Managing Editor of Biodiversity Journal, an international quarterly science journal (www.tc-biodiversity.org).
