Learn a little bit of book history, experience the joy of making books, and help the planet by using recycled materials. Susan will work with you to choose the appropriate book form for your grade level and curriculum interests. After a brief introduction, she will lead students, step by step, through the bookmaking process. With over twenty years experience, she is known for combining creativity and enthusiasm with clear, precise directions. Also includes a signed copy of Handmade Books For A Healthy Planet.

No Cost Meet the Author Visit: 10-15 minutes, Susan will talk about and show a few of her handmade books with recycled materials
In-Depth Visit Length: 45-60 minutes
In-Depth Visit Cost: $145.
Prerequisites: Each child will need materials and tools. Materials are mostly recycled and tools are simple, such as glue sticks and scissors. A supply list will be sent ahead.
